The Small Batch Nursery is a small, family owned plant production nursery located in the Perth hills of Western Australia. They are passionate about growing plants of all kinds, shapes and origins.
Mother and daughter team, Kaye and Danni Close, have been business partners for over a decade, each bringing their own unique set of expertise to the table to create a well-balanced team.
Meet the Team:
Kaye is a qualified horticulturist, with 30 years experience in the industry. She truly loves getting her hands dirty, and gets a real kick out of the 'hands on' side of the business. When not working hard in the nursery, you will always see her either in the garden, or in her studio, working on her next project.
Danni, Kaye’s daughter, has qualifications in website design and development, and worked as a free lance graphic designer for several years before joining forces in business with Kaye. Her two greatest loves are technology and theatre, volunteering her time to Perth’s community theatre scene for over 20 years.

The Small Batch Nursery takes pride in producing healthy plants that are grown to suit Western Australian conditions. They use the latest hygienic growing techniques to ensure our stock is pest and disease free and of the best quality.
All of their plants are locally grown here in Perth, WA and are suited to Western Australian conditions. All plants are fully established in their pots before becoming available for sale at their retailers.
