Arisarum proboscideum

Mouse Tail Plant

Description

A tuberous perennial, that grows lush, green foliage from late autumn to early spring. It grows to 15cm tall, and then mounds to 60cm wide.

Iconic flowers, cream to burgundy in colour, that resemble mouse tails! Flowers in winter.

Suits a part shade to full shade position, in rich, well-draining soil. Dormant in the hotter months, water less often during this time.

Wonderful if grown in mass in a container, or also suits a shaded spot in the garden under a tree. Easy to grow and maintain. A perfect addition  to a fairy garden.
